What are the Worst Things Parents Say to Kids?
I've been compiling for some time now a list of the worst things that parents can possibly say to kids. I'd like to share with you those destructive phrases and provide some rationale with why I think they are destructive.
The flip side of this list is "The Best Things Parents Say to Kids". So, when adding to this list, for every "worst" please add a "best" or a suggestion of what parents might be able to say instead that is more helpful and not hurtful or harmful.
